What is Visharam?

A place where anyone can get best satisfaction in their life by getting free food, clothes, medical assistance and homes to make life comfortable. Life becomes more comfortable during the blessed months of Shabaan and Ramzan to get free kapda, bulk zakath, sadqua……no need to work for self and no need to cook meals in home and not even to prepare self’s own tea at home. All to do is take a kettle to the nearest road side tea shop to make them fulfilled with the money they get. If a woman is pregnant, it will be always a free delivery or if a person suffers from health related problems it will always be a free medical care for him / her in visharam. If the baby born to this settled parents is male, it is free khatna for him, free education for him and finally a good job for him. If the baby born is female, free education + marriage arrangements for her with joda ka paisa aur kapda. If a baby is born to that girl, still free medical assistance till chilla ka arrangements for her new born baby. Even her husband gets a local job and settles down in Visharam. If they grow old, no need to worry for any health related issues. All the welfare is there in Visharam to take care of it. What is the last? If anyone dies, free Qabar ka jaga and free kaffen ka kapda……….. Have you ever seen any richest countries of the world giving so much care to its citizens than Visharam?

Police Vandalism Has Brought More Damage To The People Of Visharam Than What The Hooligans Have Done To The TNEB Office

Everyone knows that the building where TNEB office is located is owned by local Jam ’at and every one of Visharam deeply respect Jam’ at and its property. It is sad that some hooligans have set fire to the TNEB office, its computing system and all government records located in that building. They have brought extensive damage to the property owned by Jam’ at and very shame to all the natives of Visharam. They should be brought to justice for their wrong doings.
On the other side at the same time, the police……..the so called “Men in Khaki” are meant to protect the life and property of the citizens. They have taken advantage of the hooligans act and have brought more damages then the TNEB office. The police have vandalized all the vehicles standing near the houses whose owner were inside their homes. There is no whereabouts of the hooligans, but the “Men in Khaki” rather than catching them has wrecked all the vehicles which were parked on the streets and have smashed the doors and windows of the houses.
The peace loving people were totally panicked with the act committed by the police. They were so much scared by watching the wreckage done by police that they were not able to come out to stop or speak to the police.  The total damages may go higher than what is caused to TNEB office by the hooligans. On one side, it’s sad to say that many innocents were arrested and beaten black and blue in police custody, on the other side the people who watched helpless to protect their vehicle is still helpless to go and make complaint in the local police station. Being a proud citizen of Republic of India, it is shame to say that rather than dreaming big of us, we will suffer more from imaginations than from reality with that act done by Tamil Nadu Police.

Riots and Damages in the Land of Peace

Infact, it is for the second time a riot has happened in Visharam, but for me and to much of my generation of people, this will be the first time to see the how riot happens. The real cause is 16 hours power cut in Visharam and all the Tamil Nadu, except Chennai.

I was very much enjoying my pleasant life in Chennai when I received a call from my home to take care of myself. That moment I thought something is happening in Chennai. But the news is from my native, I was shocked that some “pudupet guys” set ablaze our local TNEB office complex and destroyed all the files, tables and whatever kept in office. Local police came to diffuse the situation, it was out of control.

Riot police service were called and the police were yelling on the gathered public to go home and be out of the scene. None of the people moved, but more damages were brought to police vehicles, Wifi transmissions, fire service vehicles. By around 11pm lathi charge was pressed to action. Our local people would have come to know what will be the consequences when arrested in rioting scene.

Unfortunately many of my innocent friends were arrested, beaten black and blue. It is bad to tell that the real people involved in the act have escaped and the police arrested innocent people of many families. No bail and no help from any leaders and the arrested were struggling without food in jails.

Alas, they all will be missing this Bakrid festival and will be in compulsory remand for 14 days. Those who did escaped as of now, but they deserve punishment and should be brought to justice!

Umm Kulsoom blessed to us in the great month of Zie-Quida 1433

I'm happy to share my joyous moment with my fellow bloggers, friends, relatives and family that I'm blessed with a baby girl. She was born on October 2, 2012 at my native Apollo KH Hospital. I always used to tell my wife that Usman will get a brother and I will be naming him Umer. When Usman was born, I was in Dearborn, this time I planned and wanted to be with my wife and I was there to see a child “full of flesh about the face and cheeks” or “One with full face”, yes God was supporting my wife and to my surprise it was a girl child born by 4.10pm.

I expected if it is a girl child, it will be her second name will be Zahid by default, Again to my surprise my mom wanted to name her “Umm Kulsoom” – meaning “full of flesh about the face and cheeks” or “One with full face”, and yes she was looking like that – I will say a photo copy of her cousin Tazkiya Zahid. Immediately Azaan was performed by her grandpa and her name was whispered to her.

She is the fourth daughter and fifth child in our family and my first daughter. I expected to take her to our new home at the earliest to see all play and live together. Welcome to our family my lovely daughter, I pray and wish a very pious and peaceful life to you! May allah be pleased with you – Aamen.

Bus fare ticket should have customer care / grivences contact numbers

I often travel from my home town to Chennai for my work since I joined a automotive company in 2009. Earlier, it was a alternate day visit to lovely home and compulsary return on week-end. The work was less and travelling back home was not hectic.
Since, a fly-over was started constructing in Porur, the bottle-neck zone for Chennai-Bangalore traffic, it frustrated me to reduce my home going from alternate days to twice a week. This continued for a year and my volume of delivery has increased in my office and the scroching temperature makes me difficult in my travel hours. Normally, I take bus that is very comfortable to me. Since, Jaya took CM's office, additional burden was added to my empty thought. Why should I travel in the hot sun with additional bus fare which amout twice of the previous busfare. It is almost morethan 5 or 6 months, people still fight for the bus fare price.
I noticed that the oftenly, bus conductor fradulently charges additional fare form the true fixed fare. Previously, there will be some phone numbers in the buses to call and complaint any grivences against the bus conductor and driver in all the routes. What I noticed that, it has been removed and  can't notice in any of the buses including Volvo buses.
What to do and how to bring solution for this. The best idea is to highlight the complaint / grivences assistance number to be displayed in the travel fare receipt. The transport management authories introduced new electronic ticket dispensing system. I suggest, the ticket receipt paper should list the numbers to contact the grivences / complaint number in the front side or back side of the tickets. This will help solve lot of problems in unconfortable journeys.

Scholarship for local Melvisharam Students

Since, we started Melvisharam Community of Professionals sometime back in 2007/08, I had been a front runner for this services along with Imran and Saalim. Our idea brought morethan 20 like mimded people under one-umbrella to serve for this noble cause. Initially, many of the members contributed money to teach and train the students to bring tomorrow's leader and that was the vision for all of us. As time passes, the colours faded and our contacts and dreams were out of our mind.
Being spearheaded for this cause along with my friend, I became the local contact for peeople who need support. Since the past four years, I approached and circulated mails to all the MCP members and just three responded and the two contributed. This made me to think not to approach generally, I know much of my friends and other member do and support their own to needy students and giving their time to develop their career.
I got a different thinking to continue and support to the local student community when much of the MCP members are not responding to financially support with their valuable time to help and train local students. As a humble begining from this academic year 2012-2013, I promised myself to offer a small part of my  money that may support atleast student fee cost. It is no zakath or other kind of money, if any needy interested sutudent wants, I'll be glad to assist them for their fee cost. I know many are doing big services and what is given in one hand, the other hand doesn't know of it. Giving financial assistance is not a matter, the idea is to get back all our MCP members to give their time and share their knowledge to develop the best in the life of students to reach higher goals which we dreamt at our times.

Is there anyone who can tame Chennai Auto-walas?

I used to travel in auto-rikshaw from auto point to my office which is less than a kilometer. The normal fare till yesterday was Rs.20 as minimum and I will travel in some four particular auto-rikshaw and they are aware where and which gate I want to go.
Today the regular auto-wala informed me that, since there is a rise in Petron and Oil prices, he will be charging Rs.5 additional to Rs.20. I got angry, since I know him as I travel in his auto regularly, I asked him why not he can gimme a concession as I consider as a previlaged passenger travelling in his vehicle regularly. He said, after taking hard decision he and his co-auto-stand of that locality decided to hike Rs.5 only where as return auto-wals from my office gate are charging Rs.10 additional to that regular Rs.20.
So is the fate of auto-users like me and others. Some three months back, there was Rs.2 hike in petrol price per litre and the auto-walas were charging additonal Rs.5 for just Rs. 2 hike. How foolish they are and to the exitement, much of the regular and non-regular travellers avoided to take auto and started walking to office in the blazing sun. This made the auto-walas to think and return back to Rs.20 a trip even with the price hike in petrol. Will this story repeat again?
Much of the auto-walas are cheater and greedy to grab passengers money. What they need is education to develop ethics to behave humanely. If they're educated, they will bring concept or schemes like banks / telecom service provider giving offfers. Atleast, they will think like Mega-Mart offers like buy to get one free to be implemented in their auto-service like first trip Rs. X and second and consucitive trips Rs. X-(sum amount) or atleast they will try to implement meter fares ethically.

No Time To Anybody!

God, you've given 24 hours in a day for me to be obedient and submit myself to you! 24 hours is not sufficient for me to manage my worldly responsibilities to manage my daily roles as a son to my parent, as a father to my child, as a husband to my wife, as a colleague to my team, as a friend to my friendship, as tomorrows leader to those who trust me…………In 24 hours, I see myself nowhere neither with my family and friends or at your worship!............God, I'm not with you…….yoube atleast with me all the time to turn myself to your submission. May, Allah give Hidayah to me and all. Aameen.
