Allhamdulillah, been a wonderful time with this blessed festival of Id-ul-azha (Bakrid) celebrated on 9th of December 2008 at home. It was a low celebration in my native due to different reasons with a strong advice in the religious ceremony. As usual, some unwanted political posters were seen in the native with greeting messages of Id in small with larger photos of the political guys and also a unwanted political hype of may be the upcoming leader on the evening of bakrid.
The schedules of salaat at Eidgah was spoiled with never expected drizzling just two hours before the salaat time. For the first time in my life, I never met a single friend of mine to exchange the Id greetings who just resides very near to my home……all was just a phone greetings and wishes for prayers!
I was very high with my relatives with much of them uttering their prayers and wishes that by next year we should go for Haj. InshaAllah, let their wishes come true…aameen! Lets hope I write my next Bakrid message from the holy land –
